Holidays!!!!!
So excited to be decorating our new house for upcoming holidays. Once the inside gets straightened up a bit, I think I'll bring out the Halloween decorations - when do you guys start putting things outside for Halloween?? Do any of you decorate outside?? How??

I have a scarecrow, some pumpkins, a wreath and garden flag. I like those things since I can keep them out through Thanksgiving. I will probably put them out the sometime in the next few weeks. Depends on when T can get them out of the attick.
I love decorating for Christmas and hope I am able to do it this year since I will be very pregnant or with a newborn around that time.
Tomorrow is the 1st day of autumn, so this weekend I put out my fall decorations....I have fall colored place mats, table cloths, and centerpieces for my kitchen and dining room tables. I have a fall wreath that I put on our front door and a little fall garden decoration thing that I bought today actually while we were at Home Depot. These are things I leave out through Thanksgiving.
I will add my Halloween decorations to the inside and outside of our house probably during the 2nd week of October. For our yard, I have some pumpkin lights that sit on stakes that I put around our garden in the front yard. We also carve a pumpkin a few days before Halloween (they always rot pretty quickly after we carve them) and put it outside the front door.
Then right after Halloween I have a few special Thanksgiving time decorations. I'm a big fan of holidays too.
I put some fall stuff out on the dining room buffet over the weekend
My rule for Halloween (inside decor) is after Oct 1. We don't have anything for the outside besides a Crate & Barrel Halloween doormat.
Its so hard to "Decorate" for the fall here because it is still too dang hot
I'm really excited to decorate our new house too!!!
I think I'm going to do my Halloween stuff on Oct. 1st :-)
I'd do it now but I think it may be just a tad too soon..lol
