Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

AW: New Laptop!
I loved it to pieces, but my last MacBook Pro was a lemon with a bad video card. Thankfully we got an insurance plan with Best Buy when we bought it and after going a few rounds with their service center, I got a brand new Macbook Pro tonight. This is the comparable model to my old laptop, but being 2 years newer, it's a pretty big upgrade. I'm also the poster child for brand wh0re since Apple could probably sell me crap in a box and I'd love it. Oh well.

Seriously. I don't have a MacBook of any sort, but when I got the iPod Touch I showed it to my cat and said "this is what is replacing you."
I don't know. He's cuter and fuzzier. But the Touch gets emails!

Well, not so much "bought" but "cashed in accidental insurance policy that had previously been paid for and received new upgraded machine."
But yes, I adore this new one.
