Hi there,
I remembered that you have successfully made your own wall word decals. I'd like to make a quote and am wondering how I go about this. Do you buy the sticker material and then a machine that punches out the letters? About how much does that cost? Do I get it at Michael's?
I'm not sure if it would be cheaper for me to try to do it myself or order a custom one from etsy. Any advice? I know you have a blog post about it somewhere and yours looked really good. Thanks!
Re: **gofurr**
I used my Cricut to cut mine out and used adhesive backed vinyl. The vinyl is $10 for two 12x24 sheets. You can use a 40% off coupon to purchase it at Jo-anns for even cheaper. As for where you could use a Cricut at a store, I have no idea. There is a new store, Scrapology, at 620 & Lakeway Blvd. I know they have a machine there, but I don't know if you can use it.
If you want to email me, depending on what you want cut, I might be able to help. Let me know. HTH.

Hmm, thank you. Yeah, looks like I'd have to find a Cricut I can use that also offers a font I like in 2 or 3" tall letters. I would ask you to do it, but I saw that the font cartridges are like $60 each! There is so much of this craft stuff that is over my head.
I have a variety of cartridges and I have a program that allows me to use any true type font or photo. So I don't have to buy cartridges. Plus if you look in the right places you never have to pay more than $30 for cartridges. If you let me know what you are looking for I can help you narrow it down.

http://jappapers.blogspot.com/2009/09/just-married.html this is a font not a cartridge.
http://jappapers.blogspot.com/2009/06/scrap-space.html The quote on the right wall is a cartridge, but the other two quotes are fonts.

Very cool. I found an etsy seller who will do a custom quote for $1/word so that might be easier. (My quote is only 19 words.) Do you think we could get it to come out for much less than that? If you have some time, I can send you some info. May I have your email again? I lost it when my Mac died.
Thanks for your help!
