So my awesome dogs just scored mega points at the ILs. The ILs dog tried to get close to Hunter for a sniff and first Wrigley Bared his teeth until Jake (their dog) backed up, then both of my dogs would not get more than a foot away from Hunter until we got back to our house. I knew they would get protective of him but I was impressed and actually a little humbled at the thought that they'd fight a "dog friend" of theirs for Hunter! Needless to say they're getting spoiled tonight.

Re: AWing my dogs
This! That's so sweet! I wonder if Bella will be like that.
That's awesome. I remember when my sister was born I got all butthurt because MY dog was so protective of her - she would sleep under the crib.
Redneck's dog is a big pushover, the girls lay on her, etc. BUT if he's not home, she will not let anyone near the girls or me, and people tend to be scared of her b/c she's an Akita mix. Dogs are smart and amaze me all the time.
