:( I think I broke my toe
I got up early today because Hubby is going off into the wild blue yonder to go ice fishing with his dad and uncles this weekend into next week. Being the good wifey that I am, I decided to send him off with a big container of cookies to share with all.
We registered for and recieved a lovely Kitchen Aid mixer for our wedding but because I work retail and things were super busy at my store, I didn't do ANY holiday baking this year and its been sitting in its box in the basement. I was pulling it of teh box and discovered, too late unforunately, that KitchenAid doesn't lock the head on them when they package them up so as soon as the styrofoam came off the one side, the bottom dropped right onto my big toe! I started hollering and jumping around on one foot which sent hubby and my dog running to my rescue and I proceeded to shake and cry. It was so embarassing but dang that hurt. Now my toe is all purple bruised and swollen. 
I dont' even want to think about putting on shoes. Good thing I've got no plans today other than ice and elevation!

Ouch! I'm sorry, those mixers are SO heavy, I'm always afraid that the top is going to fall onto my finger one of these days and smash it.
Not too long ago I stubbed my toe so badly and it was twice the size and purple, hurt like hell. I didn't go into the doctor and eventually it went back to normal, but oh my gosh it hurt!
