Anyone Here Today?
I'm super bored on this lazy Saturday afternoon... I got a new laptop and when I went to save all of my bookmarks, I realized that I only go to like 4 websites. This is one of them, this is the only board I really post on, and it's been kind of dead lately!
So, who is here today? Any plans for tonight? Or for the Superbowl tomorrow? Any funny stories or good news? I just need some entertainment.

The board has been really quiet today, I would agree. Tonight is a quiet night for us. We did a little bit of cleaning for our Super Bowl party this afternoon, so now I'm content with sitting on the couch with our dog and reading. Tomorrow we're having DH's family over for a Super Bowl party. Originally, I was excited about the party, but now I kind of wish we hadn't agreed to host so I could lounge on the couch in my pajamas and watch the game. Oh well.
Not really any good news, but I'm excited that this is a short work week for me. Wednesday is my last day and I won't go back until the day after President's Day. Woohoo!
I'm on now! DH and I woke up early this morning in anticipation of our sofa delivery only to receive a phone call canceling it due to inclement weather--there's only about 4 inches! So, whatevs, they're brats...but now we have to move the sofa that we moved upstairs back downstairs because we're also hosting a Super Bowl party.
We did most of our shopping today for tomorrow's food but have to go back out tomorrow for a few more items. We're having spanikopita, mushroom phyllo triangles, feta with caramelized onions, hummus, garlicky spaghets, vegan pastitsio or moussaka, breads, dips, veggies, fruits, and sweets. Oh, and beer and margaritas! I'm excited (mainly for the feta with caramelized onions). The end.
We are getting a 10" of snow forecast for Monday so I gimped out with my ouchie toe to get more dogfood at Sam's Club and had forgotten tomorrow is Superbowl Sunday. Couldn't figure out why the parking lot was so full!
I have a PSA for all of us who are "active" today. If you have a Lands End Inlet near you - go on and pay them a visit. They're clearing out a ton of winter gear and I got a cashmere sweater for... wait for it... 22 bucks(normally $100+)! A lot of stuff is 75% off the sale price so if you need winterish stuff it pays to check them out if you can.
