Have you done it for your SO/DH? I am thinking about booking this summer as a 1st year anniversary gift for DH but I am not completely comfortable with myself to think that I can bare (almost) all for a complete stranger-- what was your experience like? Looking to book with:

May post on my local board as well to find out specifically about this photographer.
Thanks!
Re: Boudoir Photography
I did it as part of a wedding day present for my H. It was a lot of fun and I highly recommend it. At first, it was a bit awkward but I brought my sister and a bottle of champagne...both helped:)
Photographers who are used to doing this type of thing are great at making you feel comfortable. I don't think you'll regret it!

It's not like the photographer hasn't seen naked people before. Is there something more special about your lady parts than anybody else's lady parts? So many women think they are some wonderful one of a kind goddess.
I can't count the number of times and the hundreds of women I have walked past on the way to or from the showers at the pool(s). Or the time spent naked changing at the locker or relaxing in the steam room. I was even one of the first to experiment with a tidy trimmed/shaved/almost bare bikini line. While most other girls were packing 3 inch long scruffy fur mostly under their bathing suits.
The synchronized swim team was the 1st time I ever seen an entire group of women together with little to no pubic hair. They laughed and giggled at the shocked reactions from everybody else.Turns out the swim team was right.
Before children,I just kept taking off clothes as DH kept taking pictures. It drove him wild when I turned from back,to sideways to full frontal in revealing poses.
He still gets excited when I wave a photo in front of him. He uses the photos for inspiration when I'm not in the mood or while having my monthly.
Well bravo for having a great self esteem, but not all women do. I don't think it's a matter of feeling like what you have is better I think it's a matter of comfort with your own body.
I've popped out 2 babies and I did my boudoir shoot early last month. I didn't get completely naked in fact I didn't even get topless. It's really up to you and your comfort level. It is so much fun and quite exhilirating! I felt so sexy when the shoot was finished. I think the pictures turned out amazing! You just have to relax and have fun! Look at old school pin up poses for inspiration or even a playboy mag!
Good luck!
?
This. As DrudgesBabii said, you don't have to go completely nude, just do what you feel comfortable with. I'm sure you're husband will like it even if you didn't go completely nude. ?
Why not go for a Forties pin up girl look or a Vargas girl look?
Or have a look at old burlesque stars and have a boudoir shoot based on that look.
I just had mine taken on Saturday. My photographer showed me some pictures she had taken herself of herself as well as others she had gotten permission to use for her portfolio. I met with her ahead of time and felt comfortable and she gave me tips on how to prep for the big day like buying a size larger underwear so the fabric rests on your body and doesn't cut in anywhere as well as coming to the shoot commando and braless (if you can manage, I can) so that there are no lines on the body to be photoshopped out.
All in all though, she wanted to make it about me. So she had me bring my favorite cd's, a friend, and some champagne and just had a great time. I loved it!

I wouldn't call it brave or high self esteem. It's just being practical from being in and out of swim suits thousands of times in public change rooms since age 3.
Turns out everybody has mostly the same parts in the change room.A real social evener when everybody has their bare butts hanging out together.
LG
Sorry LG, you are odd. This has nothing to do with my post. I'm glad you wore a lot of swimsuits in your day...
