What's your take...

on a knottie advertising for a family friend?  It's about a DJ who I don't think she's using for her own wedding.

Re: What's your take...

  • Is the knottie one who contributes on a regular basis? Was it like a one time thing?

It may not really matter based on the rules, but if she's a good contributor and only did it like once, I'd let it slide, but maybe PM her to say she needs to be careful or she may be taken as a vendor and banned.

  • I think that would be pretty harmless (if it's word of mouth recommendation type) but personally, I'd be a little skeptical about a recommendation for a family friend if the bride isn't using their services herself! ;-P
  • She has about 45 posts although not enough on our local board to recognize her name.  I don't see any other posts like this but I do think it's odd that she isn't using them (or she doesn't say that she IS using them).  I sent her a PM just letting her know the rules saying that she hasn't broken them but the post looks a little odd.
