Long day ahead...

Today will be a long day.  Sad  Late night of watching the Colts come up short in the big game with family means very little sleep.  I've been listening to the coming weather forecast and am now trying to decide how to plan out my work schedule for the 3 days I'll be in the office.  I don't want to have to go to the office if we get the big snow they're talking about over night so that leads me to believe I need to knock out payroll today.  If I do that and we don't really get any snow then I'll be looking for things to do until I leave for a break on Wednesday night.  Mind you, I have a lot that I'm working on right now, I just want a break.

Bring on the snow, that's what I'm thinking.

Have a great day ladies!

Re: Long day ahead...

  • I agree... this day already seems long and if we get one more flake of snow I am going to SCREAM!! I am soo tired of all this cold weather... Has anyone seen the commercial for Priceline with the little garden gnome sitting inside on the couch and its pouring snow outside and all of a sudden a Sandals commercial comes on the tv.. he's like I've got to get out of here.. I find it soo funny I just break out laughing everytime I see it because its totally me!
  • :) Bring on the snow?  I'll second that.

    So excuse my bitter rant...

Two things make me angry about this snow storm heading our way.  First, I know that this 6-10" they're predicting is really going to be 3-5", and I will yet again be disgusted with the news media's hysteria over something that happens SEVERAL TIMES A YEAR in the region that I'm in.  Second, I know that even if we had a snowpocolypse, the university I work for still would not close.  I would be expected to be here with a smile.

    Thus ends my bitter rant.

BTW, Scottnsissy and Munkii... I'm heading to Indianapolis for a wedding on the 20th.  We don't have time to stop and have coffee, but I'll give you all a wave as we pass through!

  • My university will not close for snow either.  :(

How can you come to Indy without a visit?!  Another time.

    Matt loves Munkii!!!

I know, I know.  But we're driving in from Chicago in the morning, attending a 12:30 wedding/reception, then driving back the same day.  :(  Doesn't leave us a lot of time.  Definitely another time!

  • Ugh, I feel you! I am so tired today and SO sick of this snow.

I would definitely not have come in to work if I didn't have two projects due today. And all I can say is everyone else who needs to be here to get these projects out the door better be here today and not let things get delayed. Cause I have every intention of taking of Weds if we get the 6-12"+ they're predicting for Tuesday night. My car is not built for that.

Geez... I sound bitter and angry...
