I might just be worried for nothing... but I missed a bc pill last week... i'm not even sure what day... i just realized it saturday when i popped out the next pill and it was fridays pill.
so now i'm feeling all nauseated and icky. ive had sex a few times since then so should i go buy a pregnancy test? or is the nausea just some weird missed pill side effect?
Re: Birth Control Question
Better safe than sorry dear. Take a test now just to be sure and then again at the end of the month if your period doesn't come. I'd say I'm sure you'll be fine but because of my experiance I'm a little suspicious of BC pills now.
I was on BC for over a year and got pregnant.... Took every pill, every day, same time.... Now I'm having a baby..... BF thinks he has Spartin Sperm and I think he may be right!
Don't double up on the pill as pp mentioned. Most product inserts make it clear that if you miss a pill, you've missed it, doubling up just gives you double hormones, it doesn't effect the previous days missed ones.
It's too soon for you to know that you are pregnant if you haven't missed your period yet. If you're only halfway through your cycle (day 13-16) and you were pregnant, the egg would not have even implanted yet, meaning no yucky make you feel sick hormones yet. If you're not used to midcycle spotting and notice some, then you might have an issue, but considering dr's say to wait 3 months for the hormones to clear out of your system before trying to get pregnant, one day missed shouldn't be too risky.
