Going on Vacation to NC..
Hello Ladies,
My family and I are planning a vacation to fleetwood, NC next week. I've never been to NC I wanted to see if anyone can recommend anything around fleetwood that will be worth going to. We want to pass by Boone as well. We don't ski but would love to go tubbing which park do you recommend? I hope we get to see some snow! Thanks for the advise.

What about Sugar Mountain.. I heard it was really pretty, should we go tubbing in sugar mountain or Hawkness?

I've heard this too, but it's got more tubing space than any of the other slopes. I'm not sure tubing is really the thing to do up here. You're better off finding a vacant hill and going sledding.
They have space for sure, but so little of it was being used. Honestly, I've gone faster sledding down my front yard this year! Maybe they've gotten more snow this year with all these storms and have more snow covered area to tube, but last year they had no natural snow, just a small plot with man-made snow and it just sucked. We all couldn't believe we wasted our time and money on it.
