valentines day?
so...anyone have anything planned for your first valentines day as husband and wife?
DH and I usually do a little something like go out to dinner..because I always feel like I'll wish we had. I've never been too big into the holiday, but it would be nice to do something really romantic...

We never do too much, but that's because we can't afford it. It's tradition to get mexican food on Valentines Day, so that's what we'll be doing. I doubt we'll do much else. I'll get him a card, but we won't exchange gifts.
I hate people who say they hate Valentine's Day. It bothers me every year, lol. It's not like I'm big into it, but really, why invest so much energy into hating something so frivolous?

we'll be in upstate NY skiing. well DH will be skiing, ill be drinking in the lodge lol his christmas/wedding gift was 4 days upstate skiing. i booked it over the valentines weekend.
i may take a lesson and see if i like it. hes hopeful but i hate being cold so i doubt ill think its any fun lol

We've been dying to do it since we started dating, 4 years ago - but one of us was always working on Valentine's Day. Not this year, baby! I'm psyched.
We'll probably get each other cards or something, but that's it; we'll call our new TV our gift to each other.

I'm not sure, we usually just go out for a slightly nicer than normal dinner. I have President's Day off so I'm excited I don't have to worry about staying up late.

How ironic. As I am reading the knot boards and on the phone with DH he asks..."what are we doing for valentine's day?" haha. We really didn't come up with much. Neither of us want to fight the long lines at restaurants. Plus I will be sleeping part of the day away since I work the night before. But the best part of the day will be that he won't have to drive back to Beaumont that night since Monday is a holiday...yay! Last year we rented a movie and had take out wings...I would be happy with that!
But I gotta say I am so jealous of the white castle thing! I love it...wish we had them here!
Seriously melk, I think we need to road trip it down to Jersey one of these days for some burgers!

I've never heard of Dutchess. White Castle looks kind of gross and I really only associate it with that stoner movie from a while back, something or something White Castle was in the title.
But my number one goal in life is to go to a Sonic. Those commercials are so awesome looking. Someday I'll get there!

...i went to arizona a few years ago, and we were going to go to a sonic...but it was 8am and they werent open...i thought they served breakfast? i'd much rather have a burger though...

bahahaha harold and kumar go to white castle! Haven't watched that since.....dunno when.
DH and I are staying in. We don't see each other much as is so he's cooking and we're going to be lazy together. I got a victoria's secret catalog today and told him to pick out something he liked lol.
Oh Mel, Jersey only got Sonics 2 years ago (I live one town away from the very first one ... it's so sad how much pride I take in this, lol). But if it's any consolation, we got flooded with commercials for like 2.5 years before they even broke down. Hopefully, if they're advertising, you'll eventually be getting one.
And I love White Castle. Just thinking about Harold and Kumar gives me The Crave.
