okay, here's whats going on (i haven't talked about it much because my MIL asked me to keep the situation off of facebook, but i've been dying to talk about it, so here goes):
for all intent and purpose, my MIL bought us a house. "technically" speaking, she owns it and we will be renting it (at a ridiculously low rent, btw), but she has told us that it is most definitely ours.
this was a plan that she concocted way back in october, and it is finally coming to fruition. we closed this past friday, we get the keys at the end of this week, some work needs to be done on it, then we move in.
i am SO unbelievably excited. it's in a great neighborhood, has a nice big backyard for mia and the dog, and it's SO much closer to both his mom and my parents (it is a 40-45 minute drive to them from where we live now).
i deserve a great big slap on the wrist for waiting so long to tell you guys about the whole situation, but since i was trying so hard to not really tell anyone, i was afraid i would start slipping if i spilled the beans to y'all. don't be upset with me! lol.
once we get the keys, i'm going to get in there to take some before pictures before all the work gets done. i'll make sure to share them with you guys!

it's only in greendale, RIGHT off 275. i'll only be 15 minutes from florence!
