Snow is so pretty until you have to shovel it and drive in it. I hear we're getting more snow Tuesday night into Wednesday. I'm kind of excited for this storm because it could a) cancel my class Tuesday night and b) delay the visit of a certain work someone that I'm not looking foward to spending all day Wednesday with.
Anyone watch the Super Bowl last night? I wasn't rooting for anyone in particular, but it was a pretty good game. Way to go Hank Baskett for messing up that return. I'm sure he'll be the scapegoat for the reason the Colts lost.
I'm meeting a high school friend I haven't seen or talked to in 9 years for lunch today. Is it weird that I'm nervous? We were really great friends in middle school and early on in high school, but kind of drifted apart junior/senior year. I can't believe how much has happened in between high school and now. Makes me feel old...

I shoveled our driveway twice and I feel like I worked our for 6 hrs today....my abs and back are so sore!! I made DH pain while I did the driveway b/c he's better at painting, but I sure learned my lesson do never to that again
I can't believe we are suppose to get more tomorrow night....I'm sick of the snow!!

I am looking forward to more snow tomorrow night and hope that it means a day off from work on Wednesday! I love the fact that we are having a crazy snow filled winter this year. I miss having all 4 seasons so it feels good. I am lucky that my neighbor shoveled my walkway and another neighbor and my husband shoveled my car out. Easy morning for me! Yay!
I didn't really watch the Superbowl - didn't have much interest.
So what is the deal w/ the snow this week? How much are they saying we should get? I don't mind it if it warrants a day off from work - if it's not enough, I don't want it!

Since I'm knocked up and H is laid up (still on crutches from the Achilles), we shelled out a ridiculous amount of money for a snow blower on Friday. Yea, the scene in Home Depot when we were the last to get one was not pretty. But since we had to ask my dad/brother to do our house anyway, we felt we could at least make it easier. I can't thank my family enough.
We were in MD for the record-setting snow they got there and I was shocked how great MD-DE-NJ did on 95 and 295.
I love snow. It's so much fun. The H shoveled out the drive way and side walk while myself and dog played in the snow. Oscar is so getting really good on his boundries training that we can ever bring him out front with us and he doesn't go anywhere.
My business trip to Georgia got cancelled yesterday which made me happy since I did not want to go.
I'm working at home today. Hoping I'll be working from home Wed, too!
I'm glad the Saints won last night - I like to see teams win that haven't been there before.
Izzy - when I was on leave I met with an old HS friend that I hadn't seen in 10 yrs. It was awkward at first, but we spent the whole time catching up. It's crazy how you can pick up like that, after all that time.
Bring on the snow! I want a snow day!!!! They gave us a 2-hr delay today, which I didn't think was necessary, but I enjoyed sleeping in.
I was rooting for the Colts, but I wasn't upset when the Saints won - they played a better game. I thought the commercials were pretty good this year, too. And I love The Who, so I liked the halftime show. Did anyone else see Kim Kardashian and her mom out on the field when the Saints won? Too funny.
Just got back from my lunch with my HS friend. It was good, but I guess a little awkward. I feel like we talked about almost everything in the car on the way to the restaurant and there were some awkward silences during lunch because we kind of ran out of things to talk about.
I was trying to remember why we kind of drifted apart in HS and then she told me about how she started doing drugs and drinking and moved out of her parents' house senior year. That's also when she got preggers. Her son is 9 years old now and she's working on her PhD...crazy stuff! Alot happens in 9 years!
