Olympics!

I am excited for the Olympics to start!  I think Vancouver is a cool location for it and I'm looking forward to watching the opening ceremonies and a bunch of different events.  Anyone else plan on watching?  Have any fave events?

Re: Olympics!

  • I'm excited!  I love the Winter Olympics!

I did have to look up the names of a couple of the events...

I like watching hockey, luge, some skiing and snowboarding, skeleton, bobsledding, and curling.

  • I love the Olympics!!

It's our first one since we got the HDTV, so I can't wait to watch the opening ceremony. My fave events are the ice skating and any type of skiing/snowboarding.

  • DH and I are both looking forward to them.  We had plans to go out for dinner on Fri, but remembered the opening ceremonies are on, so we are going to stay in and order pizza instead!

I am looking forward to hockey for sure! I also like ice skating, speed skating, snowboarding, skiing... and will really watch any other event too.

  • I LOVE the Olympics!  I will watch anything that's on.  I think it's funny how for two weeks every four years everyone becomes an expert at the luge, curling, etc.  :-)

  • I can't wait! I much prefer the winter olympics to the summer. Hockey will be my fav with 5 of our team's guys playing so that'll be fun to watch. I also love curling & the skiing, snowboarding stuff. Fun!
  • I was just talking about this with my student teacher.  Her friends are on both the Canadian and USA hockey teams (the women).  She's really excited and will probably make the trek up to see some of the games during our winter break.
  • I am so excited to see the olympics!  Since I have been stuck home tv has become boring.  So I am happy to see something different.  I love the curling and plan on catching the speed/ice skating.
  • i love the olympics.  we are definlty watching on friday night.  I am tyring to figure out what to eat since for the last ones we had chinese food to tie in with the ceremony
