I was halfway to work this morning and realized I didn't let Lucy out, so I asked DH if he did and he said no. We both just assumed that one of us let her out. So I had to turn around and go home to let her out and she was sitting at the back door like, Hey guys, you forgot about me? I felt so bad. Somebody call Doggie Services on me...

Re: I'm a bad Mommy
awww, you at least realized it! you're a good doggie momma for that reason, some people don't even think twice about their pets after they leave the house.
We live in a neighborhood right where Bud Henderson Rd and Gilead Rd intersect. I've been in Huntersville my whole life and I love it dearly. It would be hard for me to ever move.
She sure will! I still feel bad.
If it makes you feel better, we gave Rudy a bath last night because he was overdue. We didn't really think too much about the weather outside. But we dried him off as best as we could, but he's a golden so he is still pretty wet. Of course, we forgot to let him outside before the bath so he had to go out to do his thing. Well, the poor guy was freezing when he got back inside. We ended up snuggling with him on the couch (each of us on either side of him) and put a blanket over him. I felt so bad!
Oh ok, I know exactly where that is. My BFF works for lake forest church, a few minutes from where you're at. I love the "exit 23" area. It's got a great "small town" feel to it. I lived off McCoy Rd. last year. Your head must be spinning with how much it's all changed over your lifetime
You have no idea. It blows my mind. But it's nice having so much to do and eat around the area now because before (when I was little) we always had to go into Charlotte.
