Trying to come up with some no expense or little sxpense ways to make valentines day great...Any suggestions anyone???
Re: Cheap Valentine
Make a home cooked meal
Go for a long walk somewhere, just the two of you - could be even more fun if you have to bundle up in the snow. If you're somewhere warm, check out a local garden.
Watch the sunrise/sunset (depending on what coast you are)
Make a mix tape with your favorite love songs
Roast marshmallows in your fireplace
Breakfast in bed
Watch a favorite movie.
Check out any specials affecting your town, here February is half priced museum month, so we can go to any of the museums of aquariums in town very cheaply.
Host your own at home wine tasting.
Candlelight bubble bath.
At home coffee shop. Make some lattes and curl up on the couch with your favorite books.
Turn your living room into an at home theatre - pillows, blankets, popcorn, candy, cokes, etc.
Eat a nice home cooked dinner (we love crab dip, Filet and Sweet Potatoes and brownies w/ice cream)
Make an at home spa - massage oils, candles, etc
Run to Target, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, etc and buy new lingerie
Lots of them... http://www.lovingyou.com/content/romance/datenights.php
See the cheap card post above. Too cute!
I realize you probably meant for this to be repsonded to before V-day, but my hubby wrote me a really sweet note and slipped it into my lunch box when I was sleeping.
We really don't celebrate V-day as my birthday isn't far behind which is why he opted for a more low-key display of affection.
