Hi Ladies! I vaguely remember someone posting something about planning a romantic scavenger hunt for their H. Was I dreaming or did someone do that? If so, I'd love to hear more about it. I'm thinking of something fun to do to surprise my hubby for his birthday in May.
Re: Romantic Scavenger Hunt
That was me.
It is our one-year wedding anniversary on Valentine's Day. Since he has surprises in store on our actual anniversary, I've got a sexy scavenger hunt planned for Friday.
This is how it's going to unfold. I'm going to put a card in his glove box Friday morning. On Friday evening, as he leaves work, I'll ask him to open the glove compartment. When he opens the card, it will have his first gift in it (Red Sox tickets), and a poem that will lead him to his next stop.
I'm going to leave a gift bag in our leasing office for him. In that gift bag will be his next gift. (It's a tea maker... something he REALLY wants, so although it sounds boring, it's a good one for him.)
When he gets to the apartment, he will find another gift bag right inside the doorway. That one will have some fun stuff (massage oil, whipped cream, etc.) inside. I plan on cooking dinner in lingerie and stilettos, lighting candles, setting mood music, etc.
It's not as "all out" as I wanted it to be, but we're short on funds right now as I am still job hunting, but you could really get creative and send him all over to his favorite stores and have gifts waiting for him there... I also would love to send him someplace like a hotel (where we'd obviously order room service instead of me cooking)... but again, that's out of our budget right now, so I had to get creative with what I have.
Good luck and have fun!
This is great! I've already got some great ideas for him based on what I know he loves!
Good luck with your scav. hunt!
