Good morning
I'm not looking forward to shoveling more snow. The maintenance crew already has piles of it blocking parking spaces and piled up so high you can't see if anyone's coming before you pull out. It's wonderful.
My right eye feels like I poured acid in it. I really think that I'm allergic to all contacts. I took a picture of my eye to document it for my dr. I feel like going out and getting lasik today. Ugh.
All federal offices in DC are closed AGAIN today. Not fair.
Today is just a crappy day overall; sorry for all the whining. I can't wait for it to be over and I really hope school gets cancelled tonight. I'm not looking forward to driving home at 8pm tonight.

Don't worry I'm gonna whine too....I'm so not looking forward to the snow....I don't even know where it's gonna go, my driveway has snow stacked up on either side already!! We've already been told that we'll have a snow day tomorrow which I'm mad about....hopefully this is it!
I'm trying to get myself ready to hang in the house all day again tomorrow...I want to rent "Time Travelers wife"...did anyone see it? Was it good? DH is gonna be a pain in the ass and most likely attempt to go into work and do construction on the new place, I hate to be all motherly on him but I told him if it's really bad I'm not letting him go

My workplace NEVER closes. I need to talk to my boss today. Normally I suck it up, but with the baby in jeopardy, too, I just don't feel comfortable. Then I don't feel comfortable asking my group to come into the office when I'm not going to do the same. Blah.
I'm over winter.

Neither of my work places ever close either - so I'm not looking forward to tomorrow. I have a feeling it won't be bad in the morning so we'll be expected to come in to work, but as the day goes on it will of course get worse. And then I'm supposed to work my part-time job at night from 5-9...what the heck?!?!?!?! uuugghhh - is it spring yet!?

I say BRING ON THE SNOW! I want a snow day! Sorry, teachers.... I work year-round! Haha... I am totally prepared for a snow day... I'm going to make spaghetti gravy and meatballs; and a Buffalo Chicken sausage pizza. Yum!
Kristin, I didn't realize 'Time Travelers Wife' was out yet... my Netflix says it releases in March??? I want to see it, though.
Lilylow--about your work issues, you should email your boss' boss and ask for a meeting. During the meeting I would have a list of times/places and the things that happened. After the meeting I would write an email to the boss' boss detailing what you talked about and include all of the times/places. That way everything is documented just in case.
That sux about your heater! Are you getting a new one soon?
Morning. I am also sick of the snow, but at least I'll be able to work at home tomorrow and Thurs. I honestly don't think we'll be able to get our cars out Thurs because our development is already a mess! I wish H could work from home - if his work doesn't close (they never do), he has to take a vacation day. I already told him he's not driving in blizzard-like conditions. It's not worth it. Especially because he works an hour away.
Izzy - I hope you figure out the contact issue! And I'm sure your class will be cancelled.
Lily - sucks about the heater. Will it be fixed soon?
It should be fixed today or tomorrow. It's not a big deal considering we have a wood burning stove in our family room. We usually end up turning off the heat when we have a fire in it anyways.
I have no work tomorrow and am thrilled beyond belief!! I am crossing my fingers for no work on Thursday too!
No heater = bad!!!
