Might be trying for the impossible

So... I'm trying to think of some fun things to do for my DH's birthday this year... it's the last birthday before a signifigant one so I'm trying to find some low cost activities to start of his "last year of kidding around".

He grew up in another county and just a few weeks ago when we were watching one on tv he told me he'd never been in a ball room (like the ones at ikea) and always thought it would be fun but when he moved here he was too old.  He's also never been in a bouncy castle.

So part of me would love to pull off getting him a chance to do those two things, but I don't know if it's possible.  Any thoughts?

And since those ideas will probably be a bust any one have any suggestions for fun "grown-up reverting back to their childhood" ideas?

Re: Might be trying for the impossible

  • Can I just say, I want to come to your bouncy castle/ball pit party!  That sounds so fun.

Maybe rollerskating if you have one around or lasertag?

  • Ha.   thanks.

I just hope I can find a way to pull it off.

Rollerskating sounds good... so does lasertag actually....

hmm I'll see what I can find.  It's harder work than you think having a little boy's birthday party for a grown man.
