Secret Valentine.

So at work we have secret pals and we buy each other little odds and ends for various holidays and each others birthday. I really want to get my pal something cute and different because she's such a romantic but I hate Valentines day so I am drawing a blank. Anyone have a fun idea?

Re: Secret Valentine.

  • They have some really cute v-day coffee mugs out at Walmart and Target, you could do one filled with candy/chocolate, or coffe/tea (whatever her favorite is). Or you could bake something. Or just a box of her favorite candy or chocolates. Target also has in the v-day section romantic movies for cheap if you think she would like that. My favorite thing to get for v-day is cute pj's or socks - again, target. As someone who loves Valentine's Day, I am sure she would love any little pink or red or edible "happy" so you really can't go wrong!

  • I like krc's ideas.  Smile  I love red so anything red (big or small) is a great Valentine's gift to me! DH gave me red potted tulips last year and I LOVED that!  That's usually a pretty inexpensive present.
  • A woman at work just made something for a co-worker of hers like this for v-day.  It was a small round vase with starbursts in it.  Then she had a styrofoam ball and cut out squares of red foil wrapping paper.  She took a dum-dum sucker and poked the stick through the center of the foil square and then through the styrofoam ball.  They looked like little blooms when she was done and it was SO CUTE!  I bet there are some instructions online somewhere if you google it. :)
