Regarding Budoir Photos...

I've been looking at some of the sites you've all been posting for photographers, and I'm just wondering if any of you "smaller chested" ladies of done these photos, and if so, were you happy with them? My husband would love for me to do something like this, but I feel like it would be kind of silly for me to take my A-cup-self into a studio to take photos in lingerie that looks better on your more busty ladies : )

Re: Regarding Budoir Photos...

  • There is an old Victorian phrase "What God has forgotten, He invented cotton!"  The modern version of that saying would involve gel padded bras and "cutlets".

A good photographer can make anyone (small or large chested) look great!  Plus, most of the models in magazines are rather small busted and with the right stylist and the blessing of Photoshop, they look fabulous.

    So will you!

If nothing else, you should go and see how sexy you are with the body you have!

  • I went and I'm an A cup lady as well =)

  • Also, I don't know about other places/photographers, but the company I am interested in has you bring your own lingerie/outfits and then the photographer has accessories, etc to accent it. Bring whatever you feel best and most comfortable in if this is the case for you- that way you aren't put into outfits that you don't feel comfortable in! Whether you are A cup or double D- your man loves you for you and you will look great!!
  • I'm a small B and did these for H for Christmas.  Link in blog.  Look under the "Ooh, la la" title

I did my boudoir shots as a wedding gift to DH, and I'm pretty small lol. That didn't stop for having nice shots though. I just stuffed.

Also I wouldn't necessarily recommend a studio for this kind of shoot. Look for a photographer that does on-location with a more "artsy editorial" feel. Less "posy posy", more interesting angles, and then it really doesn't have to be all aboutyour boobs but about your overall body.

  • I wear an A or B cup depending on the bra and I did them. They actually turned out great and she had me pose in certain ways that would make the most of what I have. Do it and have fun!
  • I'm a small B. I figure if that's the size, you're hubby knows it and obviously still loves you. Why be self-concious about something he sees already :) You can look beautiful with a small cup size in photos.

I had a great pushup bra, and did lots of photos where I crossed my arms under my boobs. I took lingerie that I was comfortable in. To me, if you're not comfortable, it will show through.

  • I'm an A (B on a fat day) and we took some stunning pictures! Rock your A cup, it's nothing to shy away from or be ashamed of.

  • thanks everyone--I guess I might go ahead and give it a shot! I'll probably wait until this summer (our 4th anniversary is in June), especially since funds are kind of tight right now (he's in optometry school and I just lost my job about a week ago)

  • If you have a good photographer they'll be able to work angles and use lighting to give you curves that you want or slim curves down. One tip, if they shoot you from above...it will makes everything look small. If they shoot from below you'll look bigger. They can do a focus point on breasts and make them look bigger.
