anyone watched...

undercover boss?

we watched it after the super bowl and loved it!  i thought i was going to hate the show, but i think all major companys should do this!!  this week is the owner of hooters and it looks like he fires an a$$hole boss for the way he treats his girls!

Re: anyone watched...

  • Nooo! I forgot about it and I really wanted to, it actually looks like a reality show I could like. I have to make a mental note to watch the next one.
  • sarah, it was so a great one to see.  the owner of waste management got to see all the issues that needed to be fix.  he also found out that a boss was docking 2 mins of their time for every one they where late.  he was not happy about that!  then he saw how hard someone was working and doing 3 peoples jobs and was okay with it and promete her to a supervisor!

  • I saw it, I loved it!  I wish more companies would care this much about their employees to do this!
  • we watched it and also like it!  Like you, I was skeptical, but it was really good.  I can't wait to see the Hooters guy get fired!
  • We DVR'ed it so we could finish watching it in bed not even thinking that it would run late after the game so we missed the end :( but it was good what we saw.

  • I've never been a big fan of reality TV but I loved this show!  It was so nice to see someone actually care about the little guys in their company.  I wish that other companies would show this much compassion.

  • I wasn't planning on watching it, but then I didnt change the channel and got into it. I saw previews and was like, "ugh, another stupid reality show" but I loved it! It seemed so real and the guy was so genuine.

  • We watched it and really liked it.  However, do you think it was kind of strange that the office manager girl that was doing the job of three different people invited the undercover guy to her house for dinner?  Do you think she had a hunch that it was him?  I just don't think I would invite a new coworker to my house for dinner w/o getting to know him for a while.

I thought it was pretty strange too! It was a nice gesture, but awkward so I was thinking she knew who he was. We really liked the show though...what an awesome idea!

Yeah that was weird, I am guessing she either knew who he was or just wanted to her "her story" heard on camera.

  • i think she was just really friendly and knew she would be safe with a camera crew.  maybe she wanted to look really nice on TV.
