I flunked my 1 hr glucose
I thought that I had a UTI yesterday so I went to see the MW. She wasn't there so I saw the OB instead (odd since I could never get in to see my last OB). Anyway, they did a urinalysis and I didn't have a UTI but there was a lot of sugar, so he sent me right over to do the 1 hr glucose. I had my regular MW appt tonight and in addition to gaining a lot of weight this month (six lbs), the fundal height is measuring at 29 weeks and my blood glucose was over the limit. So, I have to go back to do the three hour and hope for the best.

I was right on the border of fail vs. pass. They didn't make me do the 3 hour but they probably should have. Like Katie said, not at all uncommon, especially if you ate that day and had carbs at all.
That being said, better that they catch it. I always wondered about it, then I squeezed out a giant baby, so....I probably should have done the 3 hour!
Oh that sucks! I hope that you pass the 3 hour.
I'll admit that the diabetic diet is hard to follow at times. You never really realize how many carbs you eat on a regular day. If you do have to change your diet - get all the education they will give you!
