...for Univesal Studio's new The Wizarding World of Harry Potter?

Squeeeee!!!

I can't wait to go! For anyone who's been there before, did you notice how they showed the dueling dragons ride? I wonder if they changed the ride to fit more into the Harry Potter theme. It looks like they redid the back area where Poseidons Adventure used to be...can you tell I use to work at Universal lol? I guess I'll just have to wait to find out.

    one my friends is getting married in FL (where she is from) in November - one of my other friends and I have already convinced our significant others to go down a few days early to go to the Wizarding World!! We freaked when we saw the commercial on Sunday.

    Yeah that was me. DH is a too cheap and said it would have to wait. So we are going to Hilton Head instead. I tried to explain to him that after we spent money on our condo and food and gas and all that it would be almost the same price. But he was being hard headed.

    I haven't been to Universal before, but I have been following some of the news on-line about the construction of the theme park.  From what I've read, that is the old Dueling Dragons coaster, and they did re-theme it to be more closely related to the story - I think it's the dragon task from the Triwizard Tournament in Goblet of Fire.  I told DH that if/when we go to Disney again to do the marathon & half marathon, we are absolutely taking a day at Universal as well!

    We are now a definite for a trip down in Mid May. Taking a shorter cruise just so we can also stop in orlando for a day at Universal!!Big Smile

    Definitely just a cosmetic change of Dueling Dragons.

    we were just there a couple weeks ago...from what we could see, they are 2 totally different rides and the dragons weren't being changed.  it is a very elaborate set-up though from what we could tell.
