Re: **Summer**

  • How nice of you to check on me! Thanks.

I'm feeling calmer about everything. We've had four contractors stop by to give us their opinion. I'm waiting for estimates from all of them. The $1000 deductible is going to sting, but I'm confident that the insurance will cover us beyond that.

ServPro came in to clean and dry things all up and their equipment is finally out of our house! We don't have a washing machine, but we're otherwise functioning as usual until the repair work begins.

  • We ended up going through insurance.  I didn't realize how much possible damage could be done from water!  The builders are at my house now ripping up our wood floor and tearing down whats left of our ceiling.  I am trying to look on the bright side that we are getting new carpeting, flooring, paint and ceilings.  But the construction in my house is stressful!  We are using Flex Builders out of Hammonton and so far they seem really nice and they know what their doing.

Hope it all works out for you!  And agreed with the sting of the $1000 bucks....but compared to mold, I'll pay it!

  • I'm glad it's all working out for you despite the stress of living in a construction zone!
