I'm now settled in Bayside. I've gotten lost a couple times trying to find a home depot and figuring out how the expressways connect. And now know to keep a quarter in my car for the shopping carts at Waldbaums. Overall, I'm really enjoying the quiet and less conjestion, which makes life much less stressful- better parking and less traffic to make it easier to get from point A to point B.
I would like to take you up on your invitation for coffee sometime.
Have a good time at Disney! When you come back, the snow probably will be all gone.

Definitely, let's get together!! Yeah, the quarter thing for shopping carts was new to me too, I guess it's motivation to keep the carts out of the parking lot!
Which home depot did you end up going to? The closest one to me is the one in College Point (which is frustrating because that's where we used to live, and we always have to go back there for one reason or another!). There is also an ACE hardward on Francis Lewis Blvd which is good, but their hours are wonky. Also, don't underestimate Raindew on Francis Lewis and 35th ave (next to another Waldbaums). They have a freakishly varied selection of things, and a whole section of hardware-store type stuff downstairs.
