I've never even heard of it, but it's in the forecast today! Pretty much the whole eastern half of PA is getting dumped on, they've CLOSED a bunch of major highways! Earlier today, it was a sleet/snow mix, but now it's snowing like crazy (2 inches per hour they say), so all that slush is gonna freeze.  MESS.

    They forecasted it the other day when we got the 22 inches but I never heard any thunder.  We have about 4 inches right now that have fallen on top of our 22!

    Yup - thundersnow is pretty fun.  It sounds different than rain thunder does.

    There were areas around here that had thundersnow with the blizzard over the weekend.  I think it was on the other side of DC though, I never heard it.  Wow, can't believe they closed some highways!  They said here they wouldn't because it would divert too many resources.  Whatever, I don't think anyone should have been out there driving (except for emergencies).  Right now we have about 15" on top of the 30" we already had Tongue Tied, and it's still snowing.  Stay warm!

    Should I mention that it's supposed to be sunny and mid-70s here for the 3 day weekend? Nah. . .Maybe I shouldn't!
