Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Let's revive our "Guide to NY" idea
I've noticed that we have had a resurgence of inquiries from OOT'ers looking for advice for traveling to NY. Maybe more people are traveling because the economy is doing better? I don't know...
Anyway, I thought we should revive our idea of doing a Guide to Visiting NY so that we don't need to answer the same questions over and over. The Nest has recently granted mods "powers" on the boards, so I can make something sticky. Which is what we wanted to do in the first place - make a sticky post that would always be at the top of the board for visitors to check out first.
So, what do you think? Who had the original info when we were thinking of putting it in a blog? Was it busybride? Can't remember, it was so long ago.
Let me know if you think this is a good idea. Then what I will do is start a thread called "Visiting NYC? Read this first!" and make it sticky, and then you all can post your visitor advice in the thread as you please. Sound good?

sounds like a perfect solution! I could also volunteer to make a google sites page with the same info - then whoever wanted could add the link to their siggy or just have it to use as a response.
