Where to eat

My husband and I will be in NYC for Fashion week/V-day and to see Lion King on Broadway next weekend. We have free dinner tickets to either Maria Pia (sp?) Broadway Joes, Planet Hollywood or Mars 2012

Which would you local ladies recommend to an outsider-we will be going to Lion King right afterwards so we will be dressed up.

Thank you

Re: Where to eat

  • none.  it's a shame to come to nyc with some of the best food in the world and to eat at one of those places.  honestly.  my advice is to stay away from the tourist traps and find one of the gems in this city.

  • Ya, I personally don't recommend any of those touristy places... try someplace a little more local with actually good food... they're all consciouis of theatre folk, and keeping your dinner on time so you can get to your show.......I'd recommend http://www.menupages.com/restaurants/mont-blanc/
  • Since u have free dinner, I'm guessing u want to go to one of those places. Marshall 2112 is cute but the food is not so hot. Planet Hollywood is the same wherever u are. I'm not sure about the other two places.
