Did I hear that correctly? A double vagina?
Re: Did I hear that correctly? A double vagina?
And didn't she have twins (well, a baby in each uterus) that she became pregnant with within a day or two of eachother?!
My nanny growing up had this same medical issue and only found out about it when she was already in her 40's. Mind you, she had a baby at around 18 years old but they didn't catch it then. Hectic.
it is actually a birth defect, and not unheard of. a bicornunate utereus is caused by the same birth defect, something is supposed to join together to form the vagina, utereus, & fallopian tubes, if something goes wrong it can happen.
my ob/gyn told me about a woman with 2 vaginas and 2 utereus
LOLZ, that's what I was thinking!
