Superbowl Commercials...
Anyone watch the game last night?? What did you think? and what was your favorite commercial??
I thought the Dennys commercial with the screaming chickens was pretty funny. i actually missed the first half of the game... did i miss anything good?

Ditto. One of the best ones I thought was actually a local one for the new Twins stadium.
And the halftime show was horrible. I know they are paranoid after the JT/Janet thing but someone relevant to this decade would be much appreciated. Seriously how many people watching know The Who as something other than some people from RockBand or the people who sing the CSI theme song?
HAHHA yes, i was in the kitchen making dinner during half time, and when i asked DH who was playing, my first thought was that I'd probably never even heard music by The Who, until the CSI theme song came on...
No offense to the oldtime rock and rollers, but I miss halftime shows from the 90s and early 00s -- my favorite being the one with NSYNC, Britney, Aerosmith, and RunDMC.
Our new halftime ritual is to watch the Kitty Halftime Show on the Puppy Bowl.

OMG i forgot all about the puppy bowl!!! that makes me sad, bc i love watching that.
And the Nsync half time show was definitely the best one i can remember

I found myself chuckling at both the Denny's ads and a couple of the Doritos ads. I totally agree with you guys about the halftime show.
ETA: Forgot about that google ad...it was really good too!
I liked the Doritos ad with the little boy whose mom is going out on a date and he said "keep your hands off my mama, and keep your hands off my Doritos" or something to that effect.
I also like the google ad- it made me go "awww"
Totally agree on The Who- yawn.

Busy in the kitchen so didn't watch the halftime show - but it sounded pretty lame. I miss the good ones too!
Most of the commercials were horrible this year. I missed some of them as I was busy hosting! I liked the Doritos ones and really liked the Dodge Charger one....with what seemed to be the perfect guy...that one cracked me up.
