I'm a Horrible Valentine!
Yesterday DH gave me my Valentine's Day/birthday present. It was this.
I have always wanted a river rock floor in our fictional seperate shower- note the fictional part. So I have previously commented that these mats are cool. However, I never actually purchased one because we don't have a spot in either of our bathrooms where one would fit well, at all really. So yesterday DH was so excited for me to discover this mat in our master bath. And I had to break the news that I really didn't like it in there. Ugh! It was a really sweet thought of him, but too expensive of a purchase to keep if it was always going to bug me and constantly be in the walkway. And of course the return shipping is through the roof!

If you feel *really* bad about returning it and/or don't want to spend all the extra money to get it shipped back, maybe you could save it until you DO have the separate shower (that might motivate you more to meet that goal as well).
I've been trying to think of a spot all day, but the mat couldn't be used anywhere our dog is around because isn't meant for his kind of traffic. Also, I could see him trying to pull the stones from the backing. So that just leaves bedrooms and bathrooms which won't work. Ugh! It is one of those items that I really like, but I don't have anywhere to actually use it.
That's the worst! At least your DH gets it. even if the rug doesn't work out, he knows what you like! Is there no way to get return shipping free? or return it to a store?
I just rechecked their return policy, no paid shipping for returns. And they don't have any stores, just a catalog.
