Proj Runway (spoiler from last week)
We FINALLY watched last weeks episode...
Dude... how the EFF did Suede get a pass? That outfit looked like some girl who doesnt have a nice coat so she threw something raggedy over a nice dress for wawrmth!! It was FUGLY and not at all appropriate for her job!!!! GAG!
Joes wasnt good either... it was ill-fitting (the shrt was BAD around the the girls) but I didnt agree with the comments from the judges about suits = out of touch. I think that makes THEM look out of touch honestly. A nice suit is a wardrobe staple that would serve anyone well. Actually I think a women's suit challenge would be a good one.
LOVED Jerrel's outfit. GORGEOUS. His girl had a perfect body for that look too... I thought korto's jacket like made the girl look kinda square-ish and heavy on top. I likes the jacket, just not on her. Not so flattering IMO.
Didnt love LeAnnes dress. The dress was cute but didnt say "teacher" to me, and the jacket was, again, ugly and unflattering.
I liked kenley's outfit - I went back and read the old thread and I know y'all didnt, but i thought it looked great for the girl, and well I love Kenley's aesthetic so I like her 
She is getting annoying though - I wish she would tone it down a smidge bc I do like her clothes alot.

Well, suits aren't bad per se, but as someone who works with graphic designers, that particular suit was not appropriate for her field. It's not like we'd turn someone away for wearing a formal suit to an interview, but generally graphic designers don't dress the same way as, say, a banker or something. We like our designers with more funk.
I'm looking forward to seeing Suede leave this evening (I mean, I'm assuming... who else could they possibly send home?). Although I do enjoy his personality. I'm also looking forward to seeing Kenley taken down a peg--her attitude is just too much.
I agree... but a sharp suit with some funky accessories and top and whatnot... I mean it isnt "out of touch" at least! In MANY fields, even creative ones, they expect you to dress up for an interview (especially once you leave NYC
) I think HIS suit was bad. But the reason given (suits = out of touch) wasnt right IMO.
Plus... I mean gawd... that suit was freakin couture compared to the outfit Suede sent down the runway!!!!!! Those bell sleeves with childish ribbon on them reminded me of the annoying rosettes girl from a few seasons ago
I am so sick of Suede. His dress was backless for pete's sake. How is that professional?!

Oh I can't stand Kenley or her designs. That dress she did a few weeks ago for Diane Von Furstenburg, was hideous IMO. I also think she is stuck in a hipster girl, Betty Page wannabe design rut. She is like Stella in that she doesn't really try to do new things. I would love to see her attempt menswear. Plus, her attitude is attrocious.
Totally thought Suede should have gone last week. His dress monstrosity was probably the worst thing I had ever seen on PR. Joe's suit was bad, but not the worst. But I think when the judges called him out of touch, it was b/c his suit looked 80's working girl shiek, not that he was out of touch for making a suit per se.
I also wasn't in love w/ korto's look. The jacket/dress combo didn't work for me. The dress seemed too short. I think it would have looked better as a mid length hem.
Well dont forget the first episode's Slasher flick outfit...
