I'm probably going to get flamed here, but I'll go ahead.
I
DO think there are things that women can't do the same or better than
men. I also think that there are things that women can do MUCH better
than men.
I do not think women should vote, I know that sounds really
bad, but when Bill Clinton was re-elected...the majority of women
voters said that they voted for him strictly because they thought he
was good looking. I'm sorry, but if the majority cannot think any more
clearly than that....then they should not vote. I personally never
voted when I lived the USA.
My FI and I have a very traditional
relationship and he "wears the pants", however, he does not consider
himself smarter than me and he is always very respectful. I plan on
being a stay at home mom and a housewife. I don't consider this beneath
me at all. I enjoy doing things for him, even if people accuse me of
being a "1950's housewife". In return, he does things for me. It works
for us. I have a college education (higher than my fiance), I've owned
my own businesses, I've traveled alone, etc. I consider myself capable
and smart, and I know I can handle anything life throws my way.
However, I am more than happy to hand the money making over to him,
along with things like maintaining the car, changing light bulbs,
clearing gutters, etc. :-) In return, I'll happily do his laundry, make
him dinner, and spoil him rotten.
Re: what?!?!
Yes, this woman should probably not vote.
Did anyone respond saying men should not vote b/c look what happened when they wanted to have a beer with Bush?
Ahhhh! I think I have to scratch my eyes out now after reading this!
Where did you find this horrible post? What were the responses? I hope she was flamed.
she went on to say that "some men shouldn't vote, either."
SOME men? vs all women?

Sadly one poster agreed with her. The rest flamed her.
This all started because someone asked about how to get their parents to pay for their wedding. People responded "you and your FI should be adults and pay for your own wedding unless someone offers." mrssteffes accused us all of being femi nazi's and we needed to accept that men can do things women can't do. People went off the handle because it was out of no where and gender had not been part of the convo at all. This psycho then responded with the above post.
Come on now - don't you know men can write their names in the snow while pissing better than women?
Reading this and all those posts about people who are going to move away because life will be over for them if the other candidate gets elected or feel people are stupid if they don't vote a certain way is giving me a headache.
Women like this give me this creepy intuitive feeling that they're probably being beaten into submission. She knows who wears the pants in the family and he always respects her? When you have to make that qualifier (the latter) that always worries me. Shouldn't this be a given?
Pardon my HUGE inner bride...I'm trying to change the size and it's not working.
OMG! ?She is horrible.
But you guys know I'm only voting for Obama because he's so dreamy, right? ?It was the dancing on Ellen that clinched it for it.?
?
I knew it! ?I can't say I blame you though Bunny. ?The sole reason I'm voting for McCain is because I want him. ?I have quite the attraction to older men.?
my read shelf:
I am the 99%.
Good point.
I am loling at you guys.
The OP....I just don't even know what to say. Wow.
*SNORT*
People like this would probably vote for McCain (pro-life single issue voters, I'm guessing) anyway, so I consider it a victory.

I'll bet with a funnel, some tubing and a little practice, I could do write my name in the snow.
LOL!!!!
