Wahhooooo!!!
Our homebuyers credit check came today!! $8245.14!!! I didn't know it was going to be MORE than $8000. We can finally get the ball rolling on a few things around the house now. I'm so excited. This is huge. This is probably a fence for our back yard and hopefully either a bedroom suit or dining room set, and maybe even some in the bank! It would be great to get a little in savings for sure, but what we'd save for is the stuff I just mentioned so I don't know what we'll do. Time for a BIG priorities discussion. 
I'm just so excited. It comes at a perfect time right with tax returns, which we haven't filed yet, but will be soon.
Ok, AWing done. I'm just excited and had to celebrate with someone!

Wooohoo!!! Congrats!! When we got ours, we got our last month and have spent the majority. We have about 3000 left that we are going to put into savings. It was nice spending it though - tv, living room and bedroom furniture, dishwasher, furnace.

That is so awesome. It sounds like you have a good plan for the money. My inner Suze Orman would say to make sure you have 8 months of expenses saved first...but my inner Aria says...happy shopping!

Thanks ladies! DH and I talked about the money for like 3 hours last night, I think we have a good plan for it, which includes a chunk going towards paying off his car and our fridge and TV, and some of it individual spending money because its been so long since we've been able to do anything special for ourselves.
I'm just happy to have it, and was shocked to see it pretty quickly!
