Make-up lessons...where can I get one?
I don't want to just get my make-up done...I want to learn how to put it on...but maybe in one class not several. For instance I have always wanted to better learn how to put on eyeshadow. Any ideas?

Oooohhhhh oooohhhh...there's a coffee time article in today's Life and Style section of the Statesman. They're talking to a girl who does Youtube videos that give instructions on how to apply makeup. Maybe you could try that.
If that fails, then I also would recommend a tutorial by CJ.
i think someone may have posted this link before... cause i was thinking of that too but i have no idea who to look for on youtube

Oh I'd come!!! When I came over to your house ... I SWEAR you changed my life! No exaggeration ... I learned so much about putting on makeup! I could always use some more hints and probably a refresher course, my memory is terrible!
I was bored with my usual go-to looks and went to a lesson from this local makeup artist a couple of years ago. She had a room set up as a studio in her house and was really sweet, listened to what I was interested in learning, and showed me a couple of different looks to help pull me out of my routine and wrote down all of the products she used if I wanted to buy them on my own later (note- she doesn't sell makeup, so it was written down just for reference.) It was fun!
Candy Johnson's YouTube tutorials are good too if you need someone to break down more dramatic looks like smokey eye, cleopatra eyes, etc for you.

I would totally be game for something like that. I've been experimenting with eyeshadows lately and this would get me where I want to be much quicker.
i'd be interested if its on a weekend where i could make it to town! i feel like i should be doing more with my eyes but i have no idea. eyeliner? no clue! lol.

Not meaning to steal CJ's thunder, MAC at Domain does give a class, it's $100 and you can get 4 friends to come in and split the cost. It's in the back and uninterrupted. You get a discount for a month to shop at MAC. And they will teach you several looks.
CJ - can you add me to the list of those interested in a lesson. You did a fab job at my wedding and I haven't looked to even close to that good since that day. I neeeeed you.
