Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Real Weddings?
Is/has anyone entering/entered photos in real weddings? I'm going to as soon as I have a few minutes to sit down and choose the best pics from our wedding. I'm not sure if this is allowed (I'll have to peek around to see if it's a violation) but I was thinking maybe we could make a list of everyone on here who does and vote for eachother?

Dude, I am still waiting for my wedding images on disk from my crappy asss photographer. Once I get them, I will be sure to post though!
I think you might be right, but what other publication might your photos be in? I know Modern Bride isn't going to be knocking on my door to ask to use my pics.
(Sorry if this sounds snarky at all... that's not my intention but I think it could come off that way)

That is so cool! Do you have a copy of the magazine? Did you see the spread?
Actually, my whole wedding wasn't featured, just one little photo. I'm actually a little miffed about that cause it's at the end of the "real weddings" section in the mag and there's a page with my photo and 3 other couples' photos. At the bottom of the page it says to go the their website to see the rest of the pics, and the other couples' weddings are on the website but we aren't. WTF? It's not a big deal, but then I tell our families and stuff and you go to the website and the pics aren't there. Oh, and the only reason it's even in there is cause our photog submitted our wedding, not me.
But... I did submit our wedding to The Knot back in Dec. (before it was featured in the other mag) and never heard anything back from them. I only did it cause our photog kept gushing about how she just knew The Knot would love our wedding. And she never advertises and I loved her work so much that I wanted to get her name out there. I mean, it's cool if they choose you, but I didn't really care much if they did.
I still need to find the magazine! Maybe they'll have it tomorrow at the airport! I can make a scene in the magazine shop at Lambert...."I KNOW HER!!!"...

Kristina, my mom picked the mag up for me! She found it at the Barnes & Noble in Fairview. I couldn't find it anywhere in Edwardsville!
Don't worry! You look amazing! Your bra just looks like another layer of some sort... you can't tell it's your bra.
