I don't know who all is military here but I saw this deal and thought I would post it... I figure in some cases some of you might have a military friend who will help you out?

I think they're all out. I logged into the system with my IL's military info and the link doesn't work. When I searched Britax, the marathon model came up at regular price, but not in those colors. Bummer!!! That's such a steal.

I know that it's great to get a deal on convertible car seats, but you can always wait on purchasing one. Considering we just bought one recently and Brooke is almost 9 months-- she's been off the charts for weight and in the 90th percentle for height since she was born-- if she was a little smaller, she would have fit in her infant car seat MUCH longer. I think most babies stay in their infant carseat during their first year of life... I don't think it's something you really need to rush into buying?

True, there's no immediate need for it since we'll have our friend's infant seat. But had we not been given that one, I'd be using the convertible from birth. So, if we find a good deal now during the sale month, at worst we'll have an extra seat for DH's car or our parents.... and get a little more mileage out of it! Stick out tongue

We're planning on waiting before getting a convertible so we'll definitely be keeping our eyes open for more deals like this. Thanks Jaime for posting about this! My parents are on a trip right now but I was thinking about asking them to take me shopping at the NEX for some baby when they get back next week. I forgot that there's also an online site so we'll be watching there as well as checking in the store. Smile

yeah, we definitely want to wait until the last possible minute when A is outgrowing her infant seat... we want to try to get good use out of it for both kids, so if we got one now it would expire for the 2nd possibly!
