So, I'm here at work til 8... I have a customer come in and then one of those Edible Arrangement people come in with a 'bouquet' for me!

So, DH got me fruit for vday... (interesting... ) said it reminded him of when he first gave me flowers-yellow daisies-there's pineapple on them. AND-he called me chubby last week (don't ask-I was downright p!ssed), so he feels he's helping me with getting me fruit... No, he seriously knows I've been working hard and those choc cov cherries I'm dying for would do me in.
Semi aw... he means well, I know he does. And he said flowers would have been much cheaper...
So, I can share them with my male coworker... and bring em home and share w the skids later, too... and him... hmmmm.... wait a minute... I see something clearly wrong here... (I'm demanding a back massage now!)
I think I've truly scared him from giving me more 'normal' gifts in the past...

It's one thing to say I am looking 'chubby' BEFORE I start working out like a fiend. It's another to say it AFTERWARDS AND when he sees the lovely belly roll with tights on. "oh, you did get chubby." and then wonder why I'm pssed. Granted, he didn't know me at my 'finest'-aka chubbiest-est...

I love you Lori, because you're happy with the edible arrangements. I always tell DH when those commercials come on that if he buys me fruit, no matter how delicious and expensive it is, I will junk punch him until our future kids have no chance.
But I have to be clear with him. One year I asked him for the kissing Hallmark dogs. He instead, bought me a candle that had no scent and pecan turtles. I AM ALLERGIC TO PECANS.
