I dont think we were together on our first valentines. We don't celebrate valentines. We celebrate Feb 16 our first date.
What was your most memorable vday?
2006 - DH had asked me out on a date for vday...I refused. I went out with my friend CIndy. We went to Baja had nacho's and were talking about my date on the 16th...wondering if this could be the man of my dreams.
Are you doing anything special this vday?
I usually go out with my friend Cindy...we consider it HATE Day. I named it Hate day back when I was single. Her and her DH dont celebrate valentines either, so we use to always go out together.

No, we don't exchange gifts.
How did you and DH spend your first vday? He took me to a very expensive, classy restaurant for a V-day buffet. That was 9 days after we made ourselves officially a couple
What was your most memorable vday? Last year, we just hung out in our new house, ordered Chinese, and ate it while watching a movie.
Are you doing anything special this vday? I don't know. If BIL doesn't move out this weekend (the apartment he's applied for should let him know when/if he can move in tomorrow), I'd like to go out, maybe the Chinese buffet. If he does move out this weekend (Saturday?
), I'd love to do the same thing we did last year - order Chinese and watch a movie.
Are you exchanging gifts? I usually get him a card, he usually gets me some small thing - candy, little stuffed animal, or something.
How did you and DH spend your first vday? DH took me to a nice restaurant in the city I was living in. We had a late reservation and they were out of half the food on their special overpriced menu, so we got a little p'd off about that. But it was still great. We had only been dating about a month by then.
What was your most memorable vday? None really. We usually just go to dinner. This one will be memorable though, since we will be in Vegas!

Hung out at his mom's place. Then we went out to this local sports bar. Didn't even make it thru our first drinks and we had to leave cause he felt sick. I dropped him off home and went home. He spent the night being sick and sleeping and I think I played online lol
What was your most memorable vday? We never do big things for vday. I guess the one year I didn't think I'd get to see him cause I had to work and at the time he was working evenings at the restaurant. But we had a bad ice storm so I couldn't get to work... so i got to see him.
Are you doing anything special this vday? Again, we never do big things. Its always to crowded at any restaurants etc. I'm thinking of making my rice krispie chicken, that he likes, for dinner. Its been forever so it'll be a treat.

How did you and DH spend your first vday? my mom and dad's divorce was just finalized in december, so she was pretty upset, so me and all my friends went to her house for wine and cheese. then those of us who were couples all left for dinner (separately) and my single girls stayed to man-bash with my mom. LOL TJ surprised me and took me to melting pot - love that place!
What was your most memorable vday? last year was pretty cool in Phoenix in the hot air balloon - especially when i saw that naked man in his backyard!!
Are you doing anything special this vday? I usually plan valentines day and he plans our anniversary. we like to do something rather than get something. there is a big garlic festival here so i was thinking of going there and taking a day off of house chores, which will be a nice treat for both of us! but with the clock ticking away and lots to do before baby, we'll see...

What was your most memorable vday? Well this is Cole's first Valentines so this is memorable BUT when we were engaged he did take the night off and cook for me

I honestly don't even remember! That's terrible! I'm pretty sure we went out for dinner and he got me chocolates.

What was your most memorable vday? I can't honestly remember, Eric always goes all out for my birthday...the only holiday we celebrate this month.
Are you doing anything special this vday? Nope...Hallmark-holidays are lame. Plus we don't need this day of the year to tell us to "be special, buy chocolates or flowers." I rather have that any regular day of the year.

Technically, we were broken up, but we hung out as friends. lol We got back together like two days later.
In 2007 when Daniel made me a candlelit dinner at home.
We were going to go to Baltimore for the day and go to the aquarium and for dinner, but work and the blizzard kind of killed that. So, now we're spending the day at home and making fondue. Yum!
