So, some of you may recall that DH and I had been contemplating a move from NYC to SF. Well, it's official! We spoke to MIL last night (who lives in the East Bay) and she is thrilled to have us until we get settled. In fact, she'll be in Europe travelling with her girlfriend because she just retired, so we'll have her house and car to ourselves. SO exciting! But, I had to break the news to my boss. I was supposed to being continuing ed classes next week to renew my real estate license, which expires in May. But now that we're moving in May, I had to tell her I'm not paying for/ going to the classes. She's happy for me, but also really sad to see me go. As am I. It's been a fantastic couple of years and she been nothing but caring and generous and supportive. If only I could clone her and take her to Cali with me!
After 22 cycles and 4 failed IUIs, Serafina joined our family through IVF/ICSI, born 8.28.12
Surprise! The Sequel is due 12.8.14!
Re: OMG, just quit my job!
Congrats on taking the leap to Cali! SF is awesome (which Millie can confirm) and the real estate market is booming (at least in my neck of the woods) so you should have plenty of work in CA.
MY BLOG!
Good for you!!! (No blizzards in San Francisco!!!!)
