aw: INTERVIEW!!
So, the Area Director who didn't hire me for the GM job last month called me a week or so ago and asked me if I would be interested in applying for an Assistant GM job at a bigger hotel in downtown Seattle. It's a slight step back, position-wise, but it's the same salary range (I might even get a raise), and the GM is a super nice guy. It would start in April, which would be great for me. I only had to do one interview, since I just interviewed with the recruiter and the AD for the GM job. I just gone done with it, and it went great! He pretty much spent the whole call telling me about the hotel, and didn't really want to ask me any questions. He said that I came highly recommended

They are supposed to make their decision by next week, but it's sounding really good! Keep your fingers crossed for me, please!

Congrats. It's in the bag. Don't trip about the "step back" because it's better to be a medium fish in a big pond thn a big fish in a small pond. And you'll take his place one day and be the big fish again.
