Facebook obsession?
Soooo.....how often do you all get on every day? Or is it on all day long?
I'm trying to figure out what constitutes obsession to FB? I don't feel like I have a problem, contrary to what MH would say, but I feel like one of my girlfriends does. And I wonder if that affects her at work? No really.....does she get anything done? Do you know people like this? Oops, maybe some of you are like this!

I love FB and usually check it every day. I don't have that many people on it that I need to check it often.
My bigger time-consumer is the nest. There is always something interesting on here.

I get on FB more from work than home, but I don't think I'm obsessed. I usually check it between my work, like while I'm waiting for a work program to load or if I'm on the phone & someone puts me on hold....
I do have a co-worker that is on it all day, and I can see that it really affects her work.

I'm on every day for sure. Maybe three times? Once in the morning, when I'm eating my breakfast and checking my email, sometimes once at lunch at work (from my phone, since it's blocked at work), and once in the evening, if I'm home in the evening. MH would probably say I'm on too much, since he isn't even on FB, and he thinks anything is too much. But honestly, I live almost 6 hours away from most of my family (and I'm from a very large family), and I don't get to see them too often. So, this is how I stay informed as to what's going on with everyone!
I do have friends that I think are on waaaay too much. If you are updating you status at least five times during the work day alone, I think you have a problem, and it probably affects your work (I have a friend who updates about once an hour from her desk....must be nice to have that little work to do!)
I check it a lot at work especially when it's slow....we're talking 6-8 times in the work day, but I'm usually only on there for 5 minutes tops. Well, my first log in is more like 10-15 min b/c I've usually got 300+ status updates to scroll through. At home I'll maybe check it once unless I'm waiting to hear from someone.
I do have some friends that seem to be on there constantly, but I think it's b/c they get it on their phones so they can check it whenever and are getting messages whenever they have a comment or something. I'm limited to using a computer so I'm on it less.

I think I was worse in the past couple of weeks because it was my way to stay connected while overseas. Maybe now that I'm home it won't be as bad....at least I hope....
Ya, this is what I'm talking about! I remember like a year ago one of my girlfriends husbands thought he was cracking a joke when he said I was on FB too much. This was at a time when I had just discovered it. I think that comes with the territory. Not to mention I am not working so really the only thing affected by me being on facebook 5 times a day is my housework isn't being tended to. Its the folks that update no joke, 10 times a day, that I wonder hmmm........I want to ask my girlfriend when she gets work done but she gets offended when people crack jokes on her. I, too, live very far away from any of my friends or family so its been nice to know all the little things they do w/o me being there!

But work has been really slow so I have a good exuse 
I don't really check it on the weekend unless it's Sunday night and I'm winding down, but otherwise it's usually at work when I have free time and lately that's been a lot...

I'm definitely on TN more than FB for sure. I barely sign into FB...maybe once a week at most and usually, it's just to respond to a request or something. I'm not really into FB and I don't keep in touch with my friends through it. I'm more of a e-mail/phone person =P
But TN...I pretty much sign on whenever I can
