    DH has finally taken my not so subtle hints that I would like things kicked up in the romance department.  It's our tradition to get a hotel room for Vday weekend since that was our dating anniversary but this year he's planned a weekend trip to somewhere within 1.5 hrs driving.  He's made all the reservations and says he's booked dinner and some other surprises (a first for us).  We leave in 2 hours and I can't wait!

    That sounds exciting!  You definitely need to update after the weekend and tell where you ended up going!

    DH wanted me to tell him where I wanted to go/ what I wanted to do this weekend, but I never got around to looking anything up.  I'm hoping he took the initiative and figured something out.  He has been home unattended all day...

    Nothing nearly as exciting as Xtina. I'm going to pick up a half baked heart pizza from Mangia tomorrow and some cheesey romantic movies, so FI and I can share them while putting together wedding invites after church on Sunday. We decided no gifts or anything.

    I'll be cheering and handing out sweets for my sweet (Ick!, I feel ill just typing such a cheeseball phrase) at the Austin Marathon on Sunday morning.  There's been some talk of spending the rest of the day eating cheesecake in pajamas.  Who knows what will happen!

    Sixth Anniversary

    DH and I've got a date night planned for tonight, Mardi Gras party tomorrow at a friend's house, volunteering at the Marathon on Sunday morning, and then Valentine's dinner at Joe Dimaggio's that night.

    Best of all, no school on Monday, so I am definitely looking forward to the long weekend!

    This is our tradition every year. . . we get the half baked and split a bottle of wine at the house.  Going 6 yrs strong!

    MH just told me he's making me dinner tomorrow - this happens every blue moon so I'm kind of excited!  that sounds so sad...:/
