Am I the only one that doesn't celebrate V Day?
Don't get me wrong I love romance but it just seems so "forced" on V day.
Re: Am I the only one that doesn't celebrate V Day?
No. It's my dad's birthday, so growing up, it was his day! Still is.
We're going to do a little grocery shopping, watch a movie (maybe go see one- not Valentine's day though!) and cook dinner later. It's another Sunday for us!
No celebrating here. Everyone puts SO much pressure on themselves, too many expectations, too much to live up to. I have never been much of a fan. We usually jokingly ask each other to be each others valentine and he bought me a bag of peanut butter cups when he stopped at cvs for soap this morning.
We often go out for a nice "anti-Valentine's Day" dinner on a different night.
Nope. DH and I have been together for almost 12 yrs and have never really celebrated the day. In high school, I was anti-valentine's day, in college we were in different states and I usually had a theater performance.
Every once in a while, I'll scare DH by asking "What are you getting me?" or something like that, but he knows that I'm kidding.
