Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Prayers once more
I posted about a month ago about my friend Kelly who has been fighting cancer for the past few years.
Today her family told us that she is now in the care of hospice. There are no more treatments.
Please add a prayer for her, her husband and her four little boys.

this has been nothing but sad news these past few days. I just found out an old co-worker was "dead" for 45 minutes yesterday and is now in ICU and hasn't woken up yet. They are going to preform tests tomorrow for brain activity. She is in her early 40's.
Then there was a family in Joliet, IL who lost their son in a fire. I *think* I may be distant relatives of theirs. Regardless, it's still a horrible story, since the dad is now blaming himself for not being able to rescue the son.
Stories like this really make me evaluate life and wonder if all these long hours are really worth it in the end.

Mel: No problem - sometimes you just have to let it all out and this is a good place to do that. This week has been full of bad news for me too. Sigh.

I just saw your FB post, I'm sorry to hear about your friend. I hope her family finds peace and I will continue to keep them in my prayers.
