We got the house!
So excited, we are moving March 7. The new house just is 1000x nicer than where we are now. I'm sooooo happy. So um, thanks landlord for selling this POS out from under us. 
And, we have a court date - Redneck filed contempt against his ex because she hasn't let him see the kids since 07. We filed back in November, and were told it could be a year until the date - we go to court March 19th!!

That's great! Who knew the inconvenience of having to move suddenly would be counter acted by a nicer house!
Wwwwoooooooo freakin hooooooooooooo! So happy for you. This will be such a stress reliever. Will the girls be in the same schools and stuff? Are they ok with it? I am assuming since it is a nicer place that they are pretty excited but ya never know. Kids can be crazy sometimes.
As for the ex....yeah um that is bs. Can't wait to hear how things go in March.
Yes, we're moving less than 3 miles, so they're in the same schools. It's so weird here - there are 3 elementary schools, but only certain grades go to each school, so it's separated by age, not location. Kind and 5th grade are in 1 school, 1st and 2nd in another, then 3rd and 4th in the last. And the kicker - they all run at the same time, and only the kids who live out of city limits get bussed. So at 3:15 you're supposed to pick up all your kids from 3 different schools. It's crazy.
And the ex, yeah, she's a b!tch. Even when we went to Iowa this year, she wouldn't let him see them. He's supposed to get 1 week at Christmas, 1 week for Spring break, and a month over the summer - at our house. Last time he saw them was Christmas 07 for 2 days in Iowa.
That is so great about the house, it is so nice!!
Also, good luck with the ex, that is unreal. I can never understand why people do things like that, you are only making your children suffer, not the ex.
