with Sen. McCain's announcement.
Rep. Barney Frank told a group of reporters outside the House chamber:
"It's the longest Hail Mary pass in the history of either football or Marys."

I would be laughing if it were anyone but Barney Frank. After reading his reason for blocking Freddie/Fannie reforms years ago, that would have prevented this crisis, he just irritates me to the limits of my patience.
I'm trying to picture someone else saying it so I can laugh too.
How about this? This picture came up when I googled "old man". Probably has about the intelligence of most of Congress.
