And Valentine's Day?

TTC #1 since 08/11 IUI#2 = BFP!
Re: How was your weekend?
Friday I took a vacation day and did some spring cleaning. Felt good to get some things done around the house that have been bothering me. DH and I went to Valentine's Day that night which was pretty good.
Saturday I wasn't feeling well so we didn't do too much besides get some grocery shopping done.
Sunday after church we went to Chicago the musical which was a lot of fun and then ate at Old Chicago. My Valentine's Day present from him is still in the mail so we are doing presents later.

On Friday, we had to go to Best Buy so I could get a new camera since mine broke. It ended up being my Valentine's Day present. We then headed out of town to spend the night at his uncle's apt.
On Saturday, we hung out with family at his uncle's apt and waited for the Mardi Gras parade that passes right in front of it. After the parade we helped clean up and packed our things to leave. We headed to the mall to do some shopping. DH needed new clothes for work, so that was my gift to him. We went to dinner, then did more shopping before finally heading home.
Yesterday we went to mass then came home for a few hours. We left our house around lunch time and went meet our friends for the parade. After the parade we got take-out and relaxed at home for the night.
It was good. Friday we went to dinner and then picked up some groceries and cracked a bottle of Champange that night.
Saturday we went on a drive and found a tooooooon of snow!! Clear roads though, so that was nice. I went to church and then we went out with my family for dinner.
Yesterday I surprised H at work with lunch and we had a mini Valentines lunch of cheeseburgers, cuz we are cool like that. I came home and baked a heart shaped cake, made dinner and we watched the DVR

We don't celebrate v-day, so it was just a normal weekend for us...
Went out with friends Friday night. Our friend invited us to our local hockey team's game on Saturday night and she had a box suite with dinner served, so that was really fun! Yesterday was just a lazy Sunday with movies and takeout.
Saturday we slept in, then ran some errands, then went out for dinner. We watched a couple of movies at home later that night.
Sunday we went and picked up the rest of our flooring (yay!), then just spent the rest of the day together.
On Saturday, some friends came into town and we did a low-country boil. The day before, I made some cupcakes that were really good.
Our friends spent the night and the on Sunday we went to lunch and they headed out of town. That afternoon, DH and I finished The Office Season 5.
We had a pretty good weekend.
Friday H had to work so I drank some wine and caught up on my reality TV.
Saturday we took a spin class, I got my hair done, and we went to movies and dinner with friends.
Sunday we had to take H's remote start to get fixed and while that was being done with worked out and ran a bunch of errands.
He made me dinner and got me a spa gift card for V-Day. We watched Couples Retreat during dinner.
It didn't snow this weekend, so it was good!
Friday I finally got to go to work again. I never thought I would be this excited to go to work, but it felt soooo good to get out of the house! After my commute from hell home, we had take-out sushi and watched the opening ceremonies.
Saturday was alot of running errands and cleaning house and then dinner while watching the olympics.
And Sunday we went to mass and then cooked a nice dinner for eachother. I made French bread (a first and valient attempt), mini chocolate cheesecakes, and parmesean asparagus rissoto. He made mushroom and gargonzolla topped filet mignon. Yum!
(My spelling really sucks today, sorry! )
